4 Prayers to Protect your Marriage 3
Merciful God,
I pray for you to help me rekindle that love that I had when I first met my husband/wife and to remind me of what I first saw in him/her so that the romance would be restored because we sometimes get into such a routine in our lives that we often forget what first brought us together. Please help us to remember those earlier times that made us fall in love with each other in the first place.
Thank you for the precious soul of my husband and thank you for the relationship that you have blessed so deeply. Help us to remain one flesh (Gen. 2:24) and allow our marriage to bring glory to YOU. Above all, help us to love each other deeply because love covers a multitude of sins (1 Pet. 4:8). May we be devoted to one another in love and honor each other above ourselves (Rom. 12:10).
