As life tries to break us down; as times get difficult; as we may stress out and become discouraged, we must remember God’s promises for us. In remembering God’s promises, we can stand in the face of struggle and “be brave and strong.” God is calling us to lean on God and plant our feet in the promises that God has made to us. When we do this, we can have perfect submission and perfect delight in spite of the storm. In God, we are strong. In God, we are brave. In God, we are enough. To be lost in the love of God and God’s promises, we have the strength to endure.

Devotional Prayer (Say This Prayer Today)

God in Heaven,   

Thank you for your love the love that wraps me and holds me and gives me peace. Thank you for the love you expressed in sending your only So  so that I may live fully in You. Thank you for your love, God I may never know the extent of your love or how much your love costs But, because of your love, I am free  and for that I am grateful.  In this life, I am trying to love like you did give like you did share like you did. You gave up all you had for me you suffered          you bled just for me. I will strive to offer my life to those whom you also love    every living creature, every human. I will strive to be more like you and share the love that you have for me with those who need to feel your presence,          to the suffering, to the lost. I thank you for your precious and unconditional love I need it every single hour.In the name of your beloved son who gave his life for my iniquity, Jesus, I pray,  Amen
